If you are a stay at home mother looking for a way to earn some extra cash without having to ship the kids off to daycare, then becoming a webcam model may be for you. It's a scam-free, profitable way to make money from home. You can set your own hours, which gives you the flexibility you need because the kids will demand you often. It saves you from having to spend hours clicking ads, and clogging your email box with junk. Follow these guidelines to learn how to become a webcam model.

Find your company. This will require lots of research on your part, but it will be worth it. You will want a company that will pay you at least 40 percent of your earnings, because that way you'll actually be making something. Some companies will offer more, some will offer less.

Join a company that will protect you and your identity. You want to be able to boot customers that ask you to do things that are against the company policy (illegal things, namely), or customers that are rude to you. Some companies will allow you to block out your local area so that your neighbors and friends will not find you. Not all companies have this feature, but you may be comfortable with one that does not.

Join a company that will allow you to set your own minute rate. This way you can keep it high enough to make yourself a nice pay check, but low enough to get more customers to join you and your chats. Keep in mind that $1.99 is a good rate because it makes you about $30 in 20 minutes; and is low enough to keep customers coming back more frequently.

Sign up with the company, fill out the required paperwork, and send it into the company. This will ensure that you are legal to be a camera model, and get you all legal to run your business from home.

Take a few sexy pictures, and/or film a few sexy videos. Some companies will allow you to upload video so that customers can watch on a pay-per-view basis and you can make money when you are not online. This will be your basis for your profile so you can start building a customer base.

Tip

Customers can see and hear you. Remember that. Sometimes, people will be able to watch your shows and earn you money without you knowing.

Warning

Be sure to keep your shows nice and legal.
