Making a blank spread sheet is easy. There are several ways to make spreadsheets, but by far the easiest is to use a computer program. One of the most popular and widely used spreadsheet programs is Microsoft's Excel program which is included with all computers that use Windows and is also available to those that do not. In most professional and scholastic settings Excel is the go-to program for spreadsheet making.
Log onto a computer with Microsoft Excel installed. Locate Excel from the list of that computer's programs by clicking the Windows button on a PC or the Apple button on a Mac. Open Excel.
Change the spreadsheet that appears to your specifications by deleting or adding rows and columns using the "Insert" tab at the top of the screen.
Click the "File" tab at the top left of the screen and scroll to "Print." Click "Print." A blank spreadsheet is now available.
Blank spreadsheets can also be created in other ways. There is other software and online programs can create spreadsheets. And, of course, spreadsheets can be made by hand by drawing straight lines on a piece of paper to create rows and columns. Using the Excel program is just the easiest, most accessible and most common way to create a spreadsheet.
