Wal-Mart employs 2.1 million people, which equals a lot of interviews. If you're wondering about the status of your interview, you're in luck. Wal-Mart doesn't have a database allowing you to check the status of your potential employment, but checking on a possible job is a common practice. Employment at Wal-Mart isn't just dependent on the interview -- there's also the application, pre-employment testing and a drug screening. Give employers time to screen your application and tests before you check up.
Navigate online to the Wal-Mart website and click on the store finder at the top of the page.
Put in the city and state where you interviewed. Click on "Find a Store" to get the general phone number to your store.
Call the store between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Ask to speak to someone regarding your job interview. You'll be transferred to a person who can give you a status update.
