Walmart has been operating in the U.S. since 1962 and now controls nearly 9,000 retail units in 15 different countries. The business sold $405 billion worth of goods and services around the world in 2010 and employs some 2 million people. If you're a permanent employee of Walmart, you can sign up for a service called Walmart Benefits that can help you keep track of your money, benefits and work-related health-care products online.

Navigate to the associate login page on the Mywalmart.com website. If you already have a password for Walmart Benefits but have forgotten it, click on the "Forgot password?" link at the bottom of the login area. Enter your username to access your account and reset your password. If you've forgotten both your password and your username, click on the "Forgot user ID?" link to access your account and reset your login information.

Click on "Register" at the bottom of the login area if you do not have an account. You'll be redirected to the registration page of the Walmart Benefits website.

Enter your date of birth, your hire date and your social security number in the boxes provided, and click on "Continue."

Complete your personal details, select your username and password and check the box to confirm that you agree to the site's privacy policy. Your account has now been created.
