JC Penney awards all active associates with an Associate's Discount Card for the associates discount program. Starting the first day on the job, associates can use the card when purchasing certain merchandise and services. The associate and each eligible dependent or spouse receive discounts on merchandise and services. Eligible card recipients can use the card when making purchases in a JC Penney retail store and placing an order online.
Visit a JC Penney retail store and shop for the items you would like to purchase.
Bring the items to the register to make your purchase.
Show the sales associate your Associate's card before he rings up your merchandise. The sales associate applies the appropriate discount before totaling your purchase.
Visit the JC Penney website and choose the merchandise to purchase.
Go to the "Shopping Bag" to proceed and make your purchase. Enter the requested information including your name, billing and shipping address and telephone number.
Locate the "Special Instructions" field on the Order Summary page and enter "JCPenney Associate" in the field. Your eligible discount will be applied to your transaction.
Enter your method of payment information and click "Place Your Order."
You or your eligible dependent may have to show a state issued ID or driver's license for proof of your identity.
You must activate all discount cards for you and your eligible dependents at an Associate's Kiosk before you can use the cards. Follow the instructions on the kiosk to activate the cards.
