How to Reprint Your TABC Certification
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) grants certificates to people over the age of 18 who have taken its training course to sell alcohol. This certificate is required for any bartender or waitress who serves alcohol in the state of Texas. Once you receive your certificate, you can request an additional copy for free until it expires. This is helpful when applying for a new job because you cannot serve customers until the certificate is on file.
Visit the TABC website or call the TABC at 512-206-3420.
Click “Get a Copy of My TABC Certificate,” located on the right-hand side of the TABC website's homepage. When the page loads, you will find directions for a certificate inquiry. This is now the preferred way to get a copy of your certificate.
Click the “Certificate Inquiry” link on the current page. When the next page appears, click the “Certificate Inquiry” link again.
Enter your social security number without dashes into the form on the next page. Also enter your birth date with a two-digit month, two-digit day and four-digit year.
Click the “Search” button. When the search results appear, click the “Print” button to print a current copy of your certificate.
