The Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer credential demonstrates advanced skills designing, implementing and maintaining applications using .NET framework. This certification requires passing exams on Web and Windows application development, Web services and server components, solutions architecture, and an elective topic.

Microsoft Certified Architect

The Microsoft Certified Architect credential demonstrates expertise using Microsoft products. This certification can be obtained by current IT architects and Microsoft Certified Masters. To receive this credential, candidates must complete an interview with a group of Microsoft Certified Architects known as the MCA review board.
